Just sharing with you all some of the footage that was taken of my Australian Jardini Arowana...truly an incredible fish. Though he grew pretty slow and was very shy, he still show great potential in both beauty and personality! Its a shame he left the way he did...remember when keep Arowana fish to keep the hood/cover over the tank and to fill any and every crack...this guy managed to jump threw a 2 inch gap in the back of my tank that I use for filter parts....RIP As Always, thank You all for watching, be sure to subscribe for more! This is going to be out first ever species special, and were going to talk about the jardini arowana. This is my Jardini arowana. This is copper and I named him coper because he has brownish, silvery sheen to him when I first got him. Right now, he has turned darker and I actually like that a lot more. This specie is from Australia. Their scientific name is Scleropages jardini but they are called different names. The different names included are Jardini Arowana, Pearl Arowana, Golden Pearl Arowana and Gulf Saratoga. There is actually two different species of Arowana from Australia. They are the Jardini and Leichardti Arowana. Scientific name Scleropages Leichardti. There is actually quite some difference between the two species. First of all, if you’re going to look at the fins of the J...
My Australian Saratoga Jardini called Togez eating a goldfish. Probably a bit to big for him at this point but he did get it down eventually. I give him a feeder fish every second or third day and feed him Hikari Food sticks and crickets on the others. Feel free to advise on diet for my Saratoga. I know too much goldfish can be fatty for them and possibly cause eye problems.

My first video of my Jardini. I got it on September 2007. I fell in love with its colour and barbels. It is 9 inches long & tank is 4'x1.8'x1.8'
He soh cute :3, I think he is a saratoga jardini but I bought him as a leichardti so I'll have to wait and see when he is bigger, I don't mind either way. ^^ Currently he is in a planted community tank until he gets big enough to go with my Peacock bass.
Miss this fish he's new tank broke so I had to give him away
A quick session in the Mary river saw me catch 3 odd balls in the form of my first sooty grunter, a respectable size Saratoga and an eel tail catfish which is always a surprise while lure fishing! Hope you enjoy! Please Like, Subscribe and Share!
